“Some people think football (soccer) is a matter of life and death.

I assure you, it’s much more serious than that.”

– Bill Shankly

CODE OF CONDUCT

We recognize the important role that Bavarian SC has in providing leadership and creating an organizational culture that is focused on the safety and well being of young players. The protection of children requires that all adults work together to support our young players.  Please take the time to review this manual with each player.

OUR CORE VALUES

  • Camaraderie

Club members recognize the value of acquaintances and friendships within the Club. To be a player or member of the Bavarian Soccer Club is to enjoy lifetime friendships grown from a love of the game and from an understanding of the goodwill inherent in the Bavarian soccer culture.

  • Integrity

Players and members of the Club are expected to participate in the game with the utmost integrity. Players and members will conscientiously adhere to the rules of the game and the Code of Conduct of the Club.

  • Respect

Respect for players, coaches, officials, and other members of the Club is a prerequisite of Club membership and playing privileges. Younger players shall show appropriate respect for the contributions made by older members of the Club whose selfless contributions make our unique soccer environment possible.

  • Competitiveness

Bavarian Soccer is competitive. While the emphasis on winning in competition as a soccer team evolves as players advance through different age brackets, the ultimate goal for players at all ages is to develop a winning attitude. At an appropriate age, players will be encouraged to appreciate the value of winning as an outcome of athleticism and fair play.

  • Reputation

The most valuable asset of the Bavarian Soccer Club is its reputation. This reputation has taken years to earn and is not to be compromised in any way as a result of the actions of players or members of the Club. All of our Club’s activities shall be undertaken fairly, honestly, and with the utmost integrity.
